If you love outdoor adventure, then chances are you’ve been white water rafting. It’s quite a fun activity, and a pretty good workout. If you love rafting, or have ever wanted to try it, we have a recommendation for you!
Several years ago we discovered Adventures Unlimited, a company in Ocoee, Tennessee specializing in outdoor activities such as white water rafting. We’d always wanted to give it a try so, when we found a Groupon, we were in.
They offer full and half-river adventures. We’ve only done the half-river so far, but would love to do the full next! We would definitely recommend starting off with the half-river (Classic Middle) adventure if you have never been white water rafting before, though lunch is included with the full-river adventure.
Prices for the Classic Middle adventure are listed at $60 per person, but they often run sales throughout the year. Check back on the site, or sign up for their emails, to find great deals (sometimes half off) on their adventures. You may also get lucky like we did and find a Groupon. You can also purchase trip photos for an additional fee.
AU is open March-October, though offer more trips during the warmer months (for obvious reasons). For more information on what to wear, age requirement, etc., you can visit their website.
